WHY PUZZLERS?

As an international symbol for the autism spectrum, the puzzle piece reflects the mystery of such disorders. With a variety of pieces coming together to form a complex puzzle, this symbol accurately represents the diversity of affected individuals.

Puzzlers Restaurant & Lounge was named in honor of those living with autism, specifically 20-year-old Joey Osinski of McKeesport. A college sophmore enrolled in the St. Anthony School Program at Duquesne University.  Joey has enjoyed work experience in local restaurants; and the Osinski family opened Puzzlers with that in mind.

Puzzlers offers work opportunities to teens and young adults with autism and other special needs. Joey’s classmates are part of the Puzzlers staff on Wednesdays through vocational assignments with the St. Anthony program. Recent graduates also are on staff.
